  1. 1

    Inspect your file

See the metadata containers inside your final export. Choose what to keep before cleaning.

  2. 2

    Clean locally

Remove supported metadata in your browser. Your original file stays untouched.

  3. 3

    Verify & download

Review the new inspection and matching media hashes. Save one file or the whole batch.

Private by design.
Honest about the limits.
How do I remove an AI label from a photo?

Choose your file, review the metadata inspection, then clean and download a separate copy. This removes supported embedded metadata containers. It cannot remove a label from a post that is already published or guarantee that a platform will not apply a label.

Will my image quality change?

The tool does not re-encode supported images or videos. It preserves encoded media data and compares SHA-256 hashes before and after cleaning. Color profiles and needed image orientation are preserved.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Inspection and cleaning run in a worker inside your browser. Your selected files stay on your device. The optional sample file is downloaded from this site.

Does this remove SynthID or a visible watermark?

No. Those are outside the metadata containers this tool edits. Visible marks and pixel-level watermarks remain unchanged.

Is Remove AI Label free?

Yes. No account or daily quota. You can process up to 50 files per batch, with 100 MB per file and 250 MB total. Device memory can impose additional practical limits.

Which file types are supported?

Standard JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP images, plus supported MP4 and MOV video containers. HEIC, AVIF, GIF, RAW, PDF, MKV and WebM are not supported. Specialized multi-picture JPEGs are rejected.
